John Morton speaks to the media about the offense and Jared Goff.

“I think it’s big because it all starts with the quarterback,” Morton said. “Kinda knowing him and when I was here, I was in the quarterback room. I have a feel of what he likes, what he doesn’t. That’s important as a play caller. We’ll continue here when the players come back and stuff, so I’ll get to know more about him and the plays that he really likes a lot and what they’ve been doing good here.”

According to Yahoo sports, the Lions had a bottom 5 draft for production in 2024
“Like Philadelphia, Detroit drafted cornerbacks in the first two rounds. Unlike Philadelphia, Detroit didn’t enjoy immediate Super Bowl-winning returns,” NFL.com’s Gennaro Filice wrote. “Ennis Rakestraw Jr.’s season was waylaid by injuries, so it’s hard to judge his actual performance. Terrion Arnold, on the other hand, basically started the entire season — and he experienced significant growing pains, particularly in a flag-filled opening month.”

  14. The more I think about it, Khalil Mac wouldn’t be a bad pick up. Why blow all your assets on Miles Garrett and you can rush the quarterback by committee. Go get Mack, move up in the draft get Mike Green and there you have it.

Mike do you think Detroit needs a Wr, I think it's what they should be looking for in the 2nd round of the draft someone to start with Jamo and Brown, Patrick they should still keep him on the team for dep, we could gain some draft picks for Hooker our shouldn't they trade him he's 27 and I'm sure wants to start somewhere! What do you think Aaron Glenn would offer for Hooker if he is interested!
