  1. Rushing is nothing like the "Joc Experiment".

He played 1B in college when Louisville had Henry Davis, the #1 overall pick in 2021 (PIT), at catcher.

He also has played over 20 games at 1B in the minors.

This is just to get him some reps for versatility as a CA/LF/1B to get his bat in the lineup consistently with Will Smith on a long term deal.

Freeman has 3 years left on his current deal and as long as he wants to and is performing, I can see the Dodgers signing him for another year or two to 1) keep the championship roster / window open and 2) chase 3000 hits.

He lost about 200 hits due to injuries in 2015, 2017, & 2024 and Covid in 2020.

  2. With regard to his leadership, the way that Muncy made sure that Brent Honeywell’s contributions in the postseason were noted by the media probably made an impression.

  3. Thanks for another great episode. Thanks for clearing up the May situation. It would be nice to see a whole season of a healthy Dustin. I know I’m going to get excoriated, but I think Philippe is overrated. It’s pretty good, but not stand in line good. Thanks!

  4. What’s up with this guys vendetta against Austin Barnes? Will Smith is a much better first half of the REGULAR season slugger but his post season numbers are abysmal. His average is lower (OBP, SLG slightly higher) than ABs…stop the AB hate! Will “Yeah” Smith is not worthy of all his adoration. If you are wondering what the “yeah” is for…listen to Will’s answers to interview questions.
