  1. Both May and Roki have nasty little leg kicks with the front foot that could easily affect their deliveries and control. All that quick extra curricular activity going on with the front foot while standing on the rear leg can't be any good at all. All of those quick little extra mini leg kicks can become a big distraction under pressure conditions in the playoffs. A guy could start thinking about his leg kicks and visualizing what it feels like as a totally unnecessary unwarranted distraction when a top pitcher like Snell has directed footwork that he doesn't have to think about. He's trying to have a repeatable consistent delivery with direct footwork and economical motion. That's one of the reason's why Roki is officially a project right now. May is slightly older but has the same bad habit if not issue with adding something unnecessary and clearly detrimental to the windup.
