With Wemby out for the season, does Mobley have a clear path to DPOY?

Idk a lot of people are saying this might be the year to give it to a guard like Dyson Daniels, Mobley definitely has the ball in his court though.
The books have it as a 2 dog race. Jackson jr seems to be ahead slightly but I just bet mobley at +120 on dk. Hes -110 on fd.

They’ll never give a Cav that’s not LeBron any accolades. It’s a miracle 3/4 All stars on our team made it.
Pessimism aside, it absolutely should be Mobley. #1 team in the league for a reason baby.
Would love for him to win it, and he’s deserving of consideration. Sucks that winning it would significantly increase his upcoming contract, making it even harder for the Cavs to make moves to improve the team. These CBA rules are garbage… I’m suppose to root against my favorite players winning awards or making All-NBA? I don’t mind players getting bonuses for these things, but the extra shouldn’t count against the cap and apron stuff.
I got Mobley locked in at +1200 from early in the season. Currently sitting at close to even money. With the hype around Wemby, as legitimate as it may be, this may be Mobley’s last real chance. Would be a shame for him to not have at least one in his career.
