Sasha Barkov: Back for Florida Panthers After 4 Nations Ride Ends

The Panthers have been off since beating the Ottawa Senators 5-1 on Feb. 8.

In that game, Team USA standout Matthew Tkachuk had a goal and two assists in the second period — extending his six-game goal streak.

Brady Tkachuk of the Senators opened the scoring in the first.

The Panthers have won five of six going into Saturday’s game with the Seattle Kraken.

Saturday, the Panthers trailed 1-0 going into the second but scored four times in a dominating period.

Matthew Tkachuk opened things off on the power play, with Sasha Barkov, Gus Forsling, and Sam Bennett also scoring. Anton Lundell ended it with an empty-net goal.

Sergei Bobrovsky made 26 saves.

Florida is off until playing host to the Seattle Kraken on Feb. 22. Eight players, most in the NHL, are going to the 4 Nations tournament.
