  1. I think a lot of teams have the plan to try it out early in the game in ST, whereas in real games they would use them later. One manager said that he wants his main players (who would play early in the ST games) to get used to it. That may be the reason for the first inning challenge. I have watched the ABS system for two years (watching my team’s AAA games) and it does the game good.

  2. From what I understand, the ABS system calls pitches from the center of home plate, not the front edge. I saw a video on Close Call Sports describing how the system works.

  3. How about Danny denz?
LHP He was dropped by the padres minor league system when the cease trade happened he now plays for the Utica unicorns he’s possessing one of the @uspbl’s deepest arsenal ?
With 4 different pitches 26 years old ?

  4. No other team will touch Clevinger. This has already been proven. Even in his first season with the Sox, when he actually pitched pretty well, they still couldn't give him away in a trade. Potential trade value, mentoring/leadership, and positive PR, are the only reasons for the Sox to bring in veteran pitchers at this point. Clevenger is TERRIBLE in all of these areas. There's no potential for benefit here that actually matters. What's the point?

  5. I agree on what you have to say about Clevinger, EXCEPT bringing up accusations of domestic violence where it was investigated by authorities and he was not charged. The courts are very quick to act on substantiated allegations and if he wasn't charged there wasn't a case and it should not be brought up at all. He might not be a nice person and she didn't like they way he talked to her but that is not a crime. And going to counseling is not an admission of guilt, maybe he recognizes he needs to make changes to his personality but that is a personal decision, again NOT an admission of guilt. Look at all the players who were found innocent after false allegations, some lost their careers and/or millions of dollars with little to no recourse when found innocent, so please don't be throwing that out there. Thank You
