8. People have a real problem separating Derek Carr the person/player with the CONTRACT that the Saints offered him. There's nothing that has ever indicated that he's a negative person or presence in any way. As a player every game was a steep uphill battle other than the first two, and we won exactly zero games without him under center. The Derek Carr hate is unhinged nonsense, plain and simple. If you want to state that his contract is way overvalued, then yes I agree.

9. Carrdashians are still stat watching in these comments. Carr had a 5-5 record last year and we went 0-7 without him. We went 0-7 without him because we were starting an inexperienced rookie qb behind a bad o line and practice squad weapons and 6 of those 7 losses came against playoff teams. People are still saying that carr succeeded cause of his stats. His stats don’t tell the whole story. We also had the 19th ranked scoring defense in points per game last year. How is it that Carr has top 10 stats but he doesn’t have an above .500 record with a mid tier defense? We all watched the games. Carr looked good mostly the first 2 weeks but then looked sometimes mid and sometimes above average after that. All Carr’s 5 wins this year are against teams with losing records. When he plays against better teams, he crumbles and doesn’t put up good numbers or good scoring. And Carr lost to the panthers as well this year. He needed the defense to close out the game against Carolina when any actual good qb would have blown Carolina out

   I can’t wait to hear Carrdashians blame the defense, coaching, the OL, etc. again this year and how it is not his fault at all. I can’t wait to hear Carrdashians be delusional again. They don’t wanna hear facts and call it hate

No, but he is talented and can make every throw. Just like any QB, he can struggle when being pressured. EVERY QB struggles without protection. Did you forget what “Magic Maholmes” looked like in the SB? Let’s chill on hoping for drafting the best QB in the league. I’m excited to see Carr and the team next season.
