  1. McCarron can sweet talk as much as he wants.
I want to hear bangs along the board. I want to see some fight. Panthers are good, but ffs go down with some passion. And this talk about tradin Schenn. These kids look like bambis in the headlights. Barkov, Bennet, Reinhardt shrugs them off like flies on your arm. Embarrassing

  2. Ladies, great analysis, Stanley Cups and winning teams aren't won on paper or through free agency or preview magazines— and teaching and coaching comes when you have buy in and an identity is formed. We've seen a ton of examples in sports and in companies all over—you can be outsider perspective the "most" talented or the "least" talented but it's also heart and drive and attitude—and yes "belief"—AND that parts of a great team all working like a well-oiled machine…I mean look you can't say anything other than systemic failure on all fronts. The Panthers are the champs and we got out worked plain and simple. Everyone has to accept the blame, otherwise it's just a repeated head ramming performance. In a weird way, this Panthers outsmashed us in Smashville…they just came in and played their game. I was not a huge fan of the Sam Bennett hit (and weirdly the team kind of woke up after that) but it's the only time the team got shaken to rise up at any point in this game. It's clearly pretty bad after giving up that first goal and you can tell on ice the team is demoralized and defeated from the jump. Fans want a reason why and we want a fix and I'll say the players clearly are frustrated as well. We've been spoiled by success (and I really think Barry got a little too bought in by the 19 game point streak last year). He needs to have.a clear idea and path forward on how to get this righted and look he's experienced this at many levels in this game and yes "short term pain" might be required. I don't think these guys have quit—but it's up to management and coaches to be in sync and the roster should match what's needed to make it work. Barry's seen it and maybe it's because he's relatively new to roster building (I'm not totally sure how involved he was in the past with David Poile but I assume he's had SOME kind of influence and pull in roster decisions)—and it's his job to fix it and learn from this season (hopefully he will).

  3. Can y’all please do a segment on why or why not Elias Pettersson would be a good fit for the Preds? Seems like trading a late first round pick, O’Reliy, Nyquist and any other short timer would make sense for both teams. He’s obviously injured so he could heal the rest of the season and start back next year with a new coach.
