1. Heartbreak, utter heartbreak. We deserved at least a point from that game. Not scoring off all these breakaways is killing us!

2. While I see people talking about the fight this team put up and small moral victories I feel nothing but disgust for them. Where was this fight against the sharks and ducks and the other bottom feeders we threw away games to. This team is full of mental midgets that crack under pressure and adversity. Haula is a disgrace as is the rest of the bottom six. Tom Fitzgerald should get job hunting because when this team misses playoffs, which it will, that should be him done

3. Panic button is gone, where the emergency button at, I never cursed as loudly as I did when that goal went in

Also how can anyone blame marky, did we go on a 12 game win streak without him or something, Timo is obviously better on the right wing , I have serious questions for Tom, Kate etc cause i am fuming with this, we had a 99.2% chance of playoffs on December 23rd………. I distinctly remember fitz saying that we had to have a winning mentality and attitude when keefe had his conference

6. I don't see how we can recover from this mentally. Have to agree this is the worst way to lose a game

7. Ace, this is a type of game that can make a grown man cry

8. Ace, here’s the way I look at it. This game will not make or break if we make the playoffs, and if we miss the playoffs by one or two points, then it was not meant to be anyway. This game shows us that when we do not have Jack Hughes in the lineup, we play a heavier, edger, and more violent game with a higher energy level. We made some mental mistakes tonight, but I think this is the most energy this group has shown all season so if we bring in one or two solid big body scoring depth pieces, I would actually say this team is better equipped than if Jack Hughes were still here and no changes were made.

9. What can you say this was just an absolute heartbreaker. We fought so hard in this game. Put alot of rubber on desmith. Got 3 goals could have had more. But what was really bad in this game was smarts mistakes turnovers puck over glass icing penalties all over on the 5-3 in final minute of 2nd. Just a killer. Not much more to say. But this did show we can play with top dogs just need to be smarter.

10. Brutal loss. That one took hair off my head. We did alot of good. But too many mistakes and those bit us in butt.

11. They did played hard for jack in this one. Went 2-3 on trip dissapointing.

12. Now we go home for an angry Winnipeg team who just lost to isles on long Island. Let's see how we show up in nj vs maybe best team in nhl

13. I still absolutely need to see fitz get off his butt and help us please. We don't k ow if jack can come back. But if fix stupidity like mistakes in this game we can beat big boys. We need to really get one fast onto Winnipeg. But did like some things we did in Dallas. Vegas game was horrible.

14. We do seem cursed. Injuries left and right and just terrible luck. 😪

15. Lets see what we do with Winnipeg and then giant game in scumadelphia sunday. We have to win 1 of these next 2 at minimum…

16. We have games with Columbus upcoming which will tell the story on our season most likely. But after Winnipeg. We have scumadelphia the jackets a couple time. Pens who we control and then a game vs Edmonton who is struggling right now.. we have an opportunity to get some points for sure. But we need fitz to infuse this team with scoring

18. Swing of emotions in that game was ridiculous it really just continues our seesaw but this one never should have happened. Our mistakes on penalties were ridiculous

19. Team is fragile physically and mentally, and they desperately need a new GM.

20. I had a very eerie feeling i knew when that icong get called this could go backwards for us and it did. Keefe could have called a timeout to set our defense there

21. Only 2 3rd period comebacks this season. So either we're always digging holes too deep, we just give up if it doesnt go our way, or both. Maybe a core shakeup is needed…
