1. Allen had 3 sacks last season.

2. If the Commanders, who basically have unlimited cap space are releasing him, it makes me question. Definitely would require some more due diligence.

8. If the commanders who have a shit ton of cap don’t want him then we probably shouldn’t go for it. Only played 8 games with 3 sacks and no FF. Hes on the wrong side of 30.

15. We still need a Grover type, John Allen just isn’t the versatile dt he used to be. He really is a pass rush only dude. Still a great player, but for the price he’s presumably looking for I’d rather keep grov and buck. Those two aren’t part of the problem
