Kane's LTIR announcement came a week too late, wish we could've done something with that
Strong sense of overall agreement on Bowman"s big picture decisions and thinking on group , individual and structure strategy .
– now need to hone goalie coaching practices and skill building . Dustin might not be flexible and skilled enough , perhaps some help for him.
– defense blue line drill practices and bad habit removal efforts . stay out of line of sight and out of crease .
– forward , winger passing , shot targeting skill increases . flexibility scoring strategies become unpredictable to opposing teams.
– hone line change better timing and planning routines . reduce giveaways on change overs.
– penalty kill, keeping tight box formation practices .
What is the policy say if, Evander warming up with U of A Golden Bears or Edm Oil kings. anyone know ?
ever been done ?
I personally think when everyone’s healthy wear one of the deepest teams in the league
Let's not forget Jackson screwed Bowman giving both Skinner and Arvidsson no movement clauses hindering any real possibility of moving them to upgrade. Not adding even a depth goalie is going to be the call where if the Oilers flame out in round 1 be scrutinized the most. As much as I like adding Walman and Frederik I can't see this team going far not with the wildly inconsistent goaltending and the defense that always makes errors, the offseason will be tough given the changes that will have to come
Im glad we didn’t do anything for our goaltending. I recall a few years back that Oiler fans complained on not having homegrown players. Most teams do and we have one with Stuart Skinner. Pickard has done a phenomenal job as a back up for what we have on Defence.
good we did not need another campbell situation when stu and pick are capable to get it done with a good team infront of them.
The goalie situation is still the issue, again.
Our goaltending awful .early exit for us this year.
Don’t show this video to HFBoards Oilers. They are extremely livid at management for not doing any moves today and are writing off the Oilers as having any chance of ever winning the Stanley Cup. I’m glad I disabled my account in 2017 and only take the occasional glance on days like today.
Fabian zutterlund is a big mis
Not bad besides addressing the goalie situation. Losers are Devils and Redwings.
Oilers are cooked…
I'm very happy with all that's been happening. I also want the Oilers organization to be very careful with how much money they need to spend. Their getting a bigger cap which is fine but you don't need to spend it all. This Organization needs to be mindful of what happened last year when they didn't have enough money to retain the two players headed to St. Louis. Common sense spending where did I hear that. Edmonton has a great team now and all they need to do now is each player has to put their hearts into being a winning team as they are. " Lets GO Oilers"
