2. A regulation win is better than an OT win for two reasons.
   1) It prevents your opponent from getting a point.
   2) Regulation wins are the first tiebreaker.

   But considering Ottawa was three minutes away from losing in regulation , I will take this. Giveaways when there are only three skaters on the ice are more likely to result in a goal against, than when there are five skaters on the ice. It was kind of weird hearing kids doing some of the announcing on the PA system. I am sure Columbus was not happy seeing this game go to overtime, just like Ottawa will hope tomorrow's game between the Rangers and Columbus does not go to overtime.

4. Rangers are a bunch of stick checkers. Nobody takes control of the man right in front of the net. That tying goal was atrocious and then K gets the assist on the OT winner for Ottawa. When NY misses the playoffs by a point they’ll look back to this one. Thank God I didn’t shell out money to go to it!
