The Harsh Reality Of The New York Yankees is Concerning…

The Yankees are Injured, Gerrit Cole might be out for the season, Giancarlo Stanton Might be out for the season and Luis Gil might be out for the season, this situation is BAD and it might get even worse.

The New York Yankees are in a BAD Spot after losing the 2024 World Series to the Los Angeles Dodgers in MLB (Major League Baseball) and the reality is, it’s not getting much better anytime soon. Aaron Judge struggled throughout the postseason, even if his MLB Highlights and Home runs were some of the best in baseball, and Juan Soto is now a free agent, and he will be the best of the top 50 free agents in MLB. His skill set makes predicting where this free agent will go is insane. The New York Yankees are not the same as they were in the early 2000s when they had superstars like Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez and after the quotes from players like Shohei Ohtani and Mookie Betts, the Dodgers clearly didn’t believe that the Yankees are in a good organizational situation. Let’s see how the Yankees are in Trouble Or Not!

  1. In my opinion they will have the best record in the AL still, but it’s close for them. I say they probably lose in the ALCS against Houston in 7 games, so a decent playoff run, but not what they wanted. I can honestly see an NLDS exit for them though if these injuries continue into the postseason. What do you think

  2. As a Yankee fan, I see it as possibly the biggest blessing in disguise possible and here's why. It might finally force us to at long last rebuild. We will finally be allowed to have a season below .500 and unload all the dead weight in a fire sale. Imagine finally being able to start all over again. It's never happened in my adult lifetime but maybe now it finally will. And we'll come back stronger in 2026.

  3. Devin Williams was tipping his pitches in the playoffs and gave the Mets the series that way but sure, best closer in baseball 😂

  4. They seemed to have learnt something from the Dodger's scouting report as Bellinger and Goldschmidt are both excellent defenders, however their bats are not what they used to be and won't on their own fix the seeming lack of (a UK English term here) "nous" in the team. Nous sort of means intelligence applied to a subject/object/problem and much of their defence was lacking it in the world series.

As a UK fan who's been following the Dodgers for almost thirty years, I think Baseball needs a strong Yankees team to keep everyone on their toes. However, so far thay can't come up with a response to the Dodger's money AND nous throughout the system from single A to Ohtani.

  5. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of buffoons and their fans…but at least Nestor Cortez thinks they're a better team than the World Champion Los Angeles Dodgers!
