7. i noticed the same thing when i sat behind the bench at a game a couple years ago. haula was talking to the younger the whole time and pointing to plays on the ice. i was also impressed by tatar, who was totally dialed in and focused all game.

   i love sitting behind the bench for this reason–you can see the dynamics that just dont come through on tv. downside was that i was heartbroken when we lost tatar due to stupid.agent.reasons, and i was (and remain) mega sad when people hate on haula for being “invisible” on the ice.
