  3. What an absolute disgrace to your only veteran player. They’re making him play LF because they don’t want to spend money on a legit outfielder or take a chance on one of the guys in the minor leagues. Altuve deserves better than this garbage franchise. There is a reason why Bregman left and it’s because Jim crane has turned into Jerry jones.

  6. Brendan Rodgers is a SOLID 2B. Offensively, he is like another Dubon at best, but the GG in 2022 and at Cooks, where the ball moves on the IF FAST, our pitchers have solid Defense. Pitching wins championships, and we are deep.

  7. I say put Cam Smith on the roster after a few weeks of the season. Maybe he is a new A-Rod. Same height. Same weight at 22. Same swing. Power to all fields. GG level 3B defense. We could teach him 2B.

  8. Guys, it’s hard to get excited about the idea of Arenado coming to Houston. First, he doesn’t seem to want to. Yes, he is still a gold glove quality 3rd baseman. But last year wasn’t a one off for Nolan. Most of his offensive stats have dropped steadily and dramatically since 2019. He’s way down in almost every offensive stat except batting average, RBI’s, HR, OBP, OPS – all have been dropping steadily.

    My concern is signing this guy for his age 34-36 years. And we’d still owe him about $15 AAV even with the Cardinals kicking in money.
