This spring, here are the numbers for the four Padres’ catchers who are on the roster.
Luis Campusano- .535 OPS in 22 at-bats
Elias Diaz- .310 OPS in 22 at-bats
Brett Sullivan- .360 OPS in 21 at-bats
Martin Maldonado- .259 OPS in 17 at-bats
Only Campusano is fairly viable offensively, but he has defensive issues according to EVT.
Please tell us your thoughts.

Shit, why not bring back…

he’s 18
Where kinda playing by ear with Catcher as the attempt to resign Kyle Highoshka failed and we can’t block Salas it would be like Josh Naylor blocked by Hosmer at 1B
Because getting him ready means giving his body time to grow.
You can’t get somebody ready who isn’t ready. Hopefully, by some miracle, Campusano has found a way to improve his catching skills over the winter, because he’s the only one of those four guys who has a chance of providing some offense from that position.
Salas is at least a year out. Let’s not rush him.
All they had to do was re-sign Higgy smh 😫
