I don’t know what reality I’m in if Dirk starts openly talking shit about the Mavericks
Dirk is my favorite player of all-time. I’m really glad he’s been away from the toxic Mavs org and will be on Amazon Prime next year. Looking forward to hear from him more – he’s the best.
I like Dirk and I legitimately feel bad for him as a Mavs fan and former player. It must be so conflicting to see how far the organization is from when he played there.

I really can’t overemphasize how much I feel for Mavs fans. This is such a shitshow.
Dirk immediately attending Luka’s debut in LA said it all. This was a betrayal of not just Luka and the fanbase, but also the franchise’s best all-time player who the organization intentionally positioned as Luka’s mentor.
Mavs put Dirk in the most uncomfortable position by trading Luka with zero warning and he rightfully is giving them the finger in response.
Man Dirk ain’t holding back bro loved Luka and the Mavs. But this is what corporate looks like, they don’t care about anything. It’s localised despotism

As a Warriors fan (but also a Mavs fan) I was happy that’s where Klay ended up.

And honestly, my pain is for y’all more than it’s for some four ring championship winner. If my team exploded like this, caused, no less, by UPPER MANAGEMENT, I would be… well, Steph doesn’t like homicidal people, and I’d have to respect that.

It’s about to be 2 months since the trade and I still feel like I got bitch slapped by Nico and can’t do anything about it. This doesn’t feel like a bad sports move, this feels personal.
This situation is like a 20-year-old who is married to his high school supermodel sweetheart and has his whole life planned out, only to be told one day that his wife now belongs to a billionaire. On top of that, his new wife will be a 55-year-old, broke version of Angelina Jolie. Then, the world gaslights him, telling him to stop complaining because he’s with *Angelina Jolie*. It’s just stupid.
Dirk has always kept it real. My only fear is his accurate assessment of the situation might make the current owners want to take the statue down one day.

The worst trade in the history of trades. Out of every teams in the league the Mavs are now the worst ran organisation. Wizards, Hornets are way above them and will soon turn their future around. I don’t know how you can call yourself a fan and go to a Mavs game in person ever again, even if you wanna see the other team.
