  1. Here's why OKC defense was so much better:
GA and the others can't say it without getting fined, but the effects of poor, lopsided calls is not always necessarily even going to show up on a stat-sheet. E.g., the terrible call against Green that was an obvious flop by Caruso early on.. that took AJ's defensive intensity. Other bad calls on Brooke and no calls for Kuz and GA, etc., start to wear down a team, especially being down already – it takes the proverbial wind out of their sails.

But more than that, no team wants to get blown our art the foul line. So defense starts relaxing, naturally, as a result.

This is why by the third qtr Bucks basically let OKC do whatever they wanted at the rim. At least it was better than an and one and guys fouling out.

Though Dame and Giannis were good at putting enough pressure, playing smart and drawing enough contact to even it up and even surpass the bad officiating early on.. that didn't make up for the resultant defensive slump.

That's largely the difference in the score at the end of the game, as it was the particularly bad stretch of calls—plus a solid scoring run that led to OKC pulling ahead into dbl digits in the first place.

Bucks kept fighting but we're just too deflated after the early battle against OKC+Officiating Crew.

Look at the pattern when MIL doesn't play as 'tough', I bet that's the case in the vast majority of those games as well. The way AJ Green is called is a prime example/good barometer.

  2. Spacing is not good, especially now with Kuzma in lineup. Teams will not guard Kuzma and they will just double and triple Giannis. I never like the Kuzma trade. you don’t trade for someone who is worse.

  3. Bucks have the talent but lack solid coaching. Doc needs to be demoted or moved to the office done in the basement with a mop and broom to allow Prunty to finish the season.

  4. Man, you have Doc Rivers as your coach, he had his time, but you're stuck with him because of how last year was handled.
Where are the plays to open your team, you have Imagine if Mark Daigneault caliber coach was coaching this team or a JJ Reddec

  5. I get the feeling that Giannis is not happy with docs coaching. The way he has responded about coaching questions he seems hesitant to back up what the coach is saying

  6. From all our last four coaches, Prunty is the only one with the necessary competitive fire in his eyes. We have the talent, the athletisism and a deep bench if you play more than 7-8 players. Fresh legs ffs….

  7. This was a Doc coaching problem! Ajax would have had one responsibility and that’s to defend sga just like he did in the Cup championship, Ajax is quicker and more athletic than sga and it bothered him, Ryan would also play! TP is not quick enough to play sga and Kuz is too big to keep up with sga! If I were coaching, every time sga would be subbed in and out, so would Ajax and AJG has been a bit off offensively and with that he becomes a liability on the defensive end when matched against quicker guards, therefore Ryan would be a better choice, it’s about defense! We play to soft at times as well, we have to be firm and physical about the ball, even grabbing rebounds not tapping it out! It’s almost like in the Cup we were more physical and aggressive but they got us this game! We have to own it, in the Cup we played Masculine and they were feminine, this game was the opposite!

  8. Everyone talks about Giannis not doing this or that, but no one talks about Lillard. Two out of only four 3pts from one of the best sharpshooters of his generation is simply disgraceful. 2-4. ffs. Only 6pts from Prince, 0-2 3pts. What is this? Why is he even in the 1st team? Giannis needs to leave. Bucks are a waste of his time and of his prime.

  9. In a game like this you need to be the 2 option to Dame. U don't need to play point forward in this game. All u needed to do was move without the ball and post up. Brooke is moving too slow to get up the court. Some match ups Doc needs to start Sims.

  10. Get it back tomorrow. This deal is good and can be great but Doc has to be a better coach. He calls out the effort of the team but he needs to take accountability or his lapses in coaching. Many times Lopez is winded, jogging up the court. He continues to leave him out there for long stretches. Prince shouldn’t be starting. We need either Rollins or KPJ to start alongside Dame. There are things can be done to fix this team in many areas and they can be great. Tomorrow Doc will go with the same stagnant lineup. It’s ridiculous
