I think keeping four backs is fine as long as 2 of them are good pass catchers. Also at some point we have to take skill position offensive weapons serious. 14. Guys, guys, guys! We all know this is not an upgrade. This is Harbaugh and Hortiz "competitors welcome" approach to throwing more competition into the pit, and letting the winner earn the starting spot. A fire under Bozeman's ass is all it is. If we really were going after a better run blocker, Garrett Bradbury would have been the better addition. And now, we know Pipkins is likely staying since we lost our only other viable option at swing tackle with Foster Sarell signing with the Commanders. This is in now way an upgrade. I welcome James to the squad and wish him the best season he's ever put on tape, but he's been very inconsistent and the Raiders gave 421 of his snaps to JPJ last year for good reason. I hope with better coaching and the eye opener of getting released will help him produce his best results yet though.

20. Nick Mangold said that you can have 2 bad offensive line guys. And it can be on the left or on the right, can’t be in the middle. Because protecting the middle with poor players is impossible.

    The chargers should take the best Offensive/defensive player available in the first round. And take running back/o-line depth in the later rounds.

This is a good pickup he is a upgrade ar center over bozman last year he didnt have as good of a year because the raiders were a shit show for many reasons coacing changes and positional coaching changes and they switched thier scheme from a power/gap scheme to a zone scheme so last year he qas playing in a bad scheme fit we run a power/gap scheme which is what he exceles at running andre james was getting better and better each year until last year when they changed their scheme to a zone blocking one and with all the other things going on with the raiders last year no wonder he dudnt play as good he is a upgrade at center over bozman and having bozman as the backup center is good for this offensive line all they need to do now is draft a left gaurd and they will have upgrades at all 3 interior spots they can use a day3 pick this draft on a future center or next draft a higher pick on a future center but andre james is only 27 s he could be the starter for 4 or 5 years depending on his play which I think he should be pretty good on our team in a harbaugh and roman scheme

22. They also still have plenty of cap space left to still get a upgrade at left gaurd still have will hernandez and brandon scherff available both upgrades over zion plus whoever still gets released after the draft thier is always good players that get released from now until after the draft

No bozman should not be a gaurd he should just be the backup center thats basically what his deal shows he could be the starter or just be a backup center wgich is probably the best thing for him to just be the backup center having zion as the first backup gaurd off the bench bozman the backup center and pipkins the backup tackle is a good position for this O-line to be in im pretty sure they are still looking to upgrade the left gaurd spot they didnt pick up zions 5th hear option and talking about him trying out for the starting center spot shows his starting days are done he only has this last year on his rookie deal and it makes more sense to draft a gaurd for that spot or sign another free agent but im thinking they are gonna draft a gaurd on day2 or early day3 to be the new starting left gaurd they been doing a lot of work on gaurds in the 2-4 round draft range just having andre james at center and mekhi becton at right gaurd are big upgrades already on the O-line

26. A good value for some of those 10 draft picks at least one of those picks should be traded for a vet player IMO.

27. Zion is a 25 years old old first rounder you got to give him time to develop with other good interior linemen next to home with Hames and Beckon next to home. He’s gonna have a lot better year this year

I get where you are coming from as far as drafting an O lineman at 22, but, besides minor flashes from Ladd and some other wr's, who are now gone, signing a line really says, "man, I hope we find an offensive gem in the later rounds." I do NOT like that idea. I know Hortiz said he would take the best possible player but if we have a stout line, that is all we have. Mike and Ladd, that's awesome, but I think we need an RB behind Harris. Hopefully Vidal can show why we drafted him. Herbo has a WALL in front of him now but what good is it if he doesn't have anyone to throw to? I.e., a safety net like a TE or another slot. I am too impatient to see what this draft brings!

29. This is hilarious. I guess it's been a long time since we've had competent leadership in the organization and responsible management of the finances and team signings. I've been telling everyone to chill out. This is another great signing, they've almost completely made over the OL, signed a good RB, signed a WR that we all loved 2 years ago to go along with McConkey and an improving QJ, signed some depth pieces, signed a breakout safety in Molden, and we still haven't gotten to the draft yet. Trust in Harbaugh and Hortiz, not because we're fans, but because he knows what he's doing.

No on teven jenkins he has a bad health history and comes out of games everytime instead of injurys he could play through they might still sign a free agent o-line still maybe or after the draft when more guys get cut but im betting that last left gaurd spot is gonna be filled through the draft they have been doing a lot of work on gaurds this draft cycle and they want to get younger in the trenches the only too younger futs in free agency is teven jenkins and will hernandez im a no on teven jenkins cus he always is getting hurt will hernandez im cool with that signing but I dont think they are doing that im confident they will draft a gaurd decently high jim loves his big guys they have 10 draft picks and didnt draft any gaurds last year so I bet they will draft at least two O-lineman this draft two gaurds or a gaurd and a center or a gaurd and a tackle but im betting they draft a gaurd in the firat 3 picks

34. Gotta give Hortiz some credit for how he upgraded the offensive line. Got a guard and a center both in their prime for a good price, which makes the Bozeman resigning good because hes insurance at LG and center if zion cant get it done, or if someone gets hurt. Much better than overpaying for an average guard like aaron banks for 20 mil/yr. If he nails the draft, ill be 100 percent back on the hortiz train.
