  2. Based on the fact that tee’s guaranteed money on this new deal is basically up after a year & gives the bengals an out I’d say they did just fine. But it is a horrible deal for Higgins, he shoulda left

  5. Bengals lost their playoff spot to the Steelers because they gave up more points than they could score, and they scored a lot of points with those guys!

  9. You can rebuild the defense each player individually during the all season to build them into better players and have them ready for the season next year I think we're going to be fine

  14. We paid 28.750 mil per to tee, he would if got well over 30 on the open market. Ja'marr, signed for 40 mil per. If myles Garrett is worth it then Ja'marr chase is worth that. Tee took a discount imo. We had no body to pay coming up, star wise. Keep your best players. A player getting probably 33 to 35 mil per should not hit the open market. It's silly to even have this debate.

  16. Receipts. We will not get to a superbowl says cowerd. We have the same offense that was one of the best last year. We still have hendrickson, new dc. All it takes is to hit on a few draft picks on the defense and cowerd might eat his words.

  18. This is my view from this as a GM- You have your top 5 positions you want to spend money and get production.
    For me those are
    #1 QB. Joe Burrow. Number one has to be spent on QB.
    2-5 could be argued in almost any order.
    LT. OBJ locked under contract. WR1. Chase. Locked under contract. LE/RUSH. Hendrickson. Under contract for 1 more year and at least one tag. CB1. ??? . But for the 5th on contract the bengals have gone WR2. Now they need to evaluate the draft and get early season starters on defense. Need an under DT that can help put pressure on inside OL allowing Hendrickson to work. There is talent in the DB room, it needs to be found by the new defensive coaching staff.

  22. Cowherd, you say there are usually 4-5 teams that have a legitimate shot at the super bowl every year. The last 2 times the Giants won the super bowl, they were no where close to top 5. Probably about 9-19. Don't those extraordinary, unlikely Giant super bowl wins PROVE that Eli Manning is hall of fame caliber? How did the the 9th best team in the league win 2 championships?

  26. So this move tells me one of 2 things. Either they are selling the farm because they are afraid of Burrow leaving OR they truly think the defensive problems were on Anarumo and not the player's. They dont care about the oline because clearly Joe doesnt care about the oline.
