1. I want a one on one with Mikko talking about his lack luster start with the Stars. I s he not happy is it time for adjustment or is just saving himself for playoff or just what it it?

7. The trade seems to have taken us backwards. 😩 As far as Rantanen goes, he’s a professional not new to the league, he’s not a rookie! Martin Necas doesn’t seem to need the same “time” to adjust as we’re hearing that Rantanen needs. I hope things get better, soon! Agree with others, DeSmith should take a lead for a bit now!

9. Jake Oettinger needs to wake up as well. He has been the most inconsistent consistent goalie since 4 Nations imo.

10. Without Miro it's clear they're struggling as a group to clear their own zone. This seems to be even more exasperated when playing the top teams which is why they're I believe 11-17 against the top 10 in the league. Because of that it's affecting Otters play and he's regressed as a result. Focus, practice and attitude will go along way in fixing this. They need to just stay calm and focus on clean passes out of their zone we know they can make because they were doing it well before the trade. Coach Pete has to get that top line and specifically Mikko going to help compensate for these defensive problems and really get their top 6 playing solid TWO-WAY hockey. Those guys have the responsibility of helping in their own zone as much as the D-men.

11. Look, obviously the Stars aren't playing up to standard, but I'm putting some of this on Pete. Yes, the season has been a wild ride with injuries, but some nights Pete is switching up the lines in some weird ways and they can't seem to get any consistency at all. There's a reason Bichel and Dumba have seemed to play better after stretches of consistency, I understand you have to do what you have to do sometimes, but it's a bit excessive when you have a line play well the night before and then all of a sudden Robo is on a line with Dadonov and Borque. Just get some consistency going so they can rebuild their chemistry.

12. There are 3 players on LTIR don't forget. Nil is a defensive starter that missed his opportunity.

14. If this team checks out in the first round, it's time for a big shake up because it's too talented to fail. . Otter to me is not an elite goalie, and yes their zone exits are painful to watch. Is it coaching or do we need to shake up the core of this team and move some players? Jussi Saros-G and Dahlin-D. are interesting to talk about. The Wild and Oilers will be good tests.
