  23. Other media people joke that Windy is Lebron’s best friend in a teasing way and Windy always corrects them that he isn’t and there is no relationship. If anything it’s other media being weird af about Windy all the time and the Lebron thing is just a regular topic to poke along with a few others. 

    Lebron lately seems to not like his name being in people’s mouths in general. Including in this long running joke.

  28. There’s nothing weird about a sports reporter covering the greatest athlete in his sport. LeBron likes to exaggerate to make points like a lot of people do. Windy’s never claimed to be his best friend, he knows his career and has covered it since High School. His talent as a reporter got him where he is and he was also fortunate to have LeBron to cover.

  48. Lol. Lebron. As someone who’s heard Windy AND you talk more than I ever care to admit, he has never once said he’s your best friend. And before anyone comes in with “but what he meant was”, LeBron said verbatim “this guy says he’s like my fucking best friend”. Brian has never said that, and I would go as far to say he’s made it clear he does NOT have a very personal relationship with you.

    But he has covered you since you were in HS. He does have tons of connections with people you are connected with. He is uniquely qualified to speculate on things regarding you because of that.
