  9. You can make an argument for why the draft is rigged no matter what the outcome is. Post Ewing draft/lottery change this is silly because they broadcast the drawing after the televised show

  10. It’s possible but then you have more random years like why would you send Zion to the Pelicans instead of the Knicks and or not give the Lakers the first after Kobe when they sucked before LeBron.

    You can certainly say some of them are rigged but I wouldn’t say it happened every year

    Listen, the NBA didn’t get to where it is now purely off of basketball. The storylines and drama is what draws in the casual fans, which makes up most of the viewers hate it or not. What if Wemby goes to a terribly run franchise and never reaches his full potential because of that? That would be a huge loss for the NBA and frankly a complete waste of a valuable asset.
