  1. Everybody keeps vomiting the ‘Harbaugh in Year 2’ take in sports media. They did NOTHING to upgrade the weapons around Herbert! Harris is a solid back but not special, Williams isn’t what he was 2-3 years ago, Becton is a good signing in theory but unless Stoutland comes with him that’s not changing life, and James is solid at C but you didn’t sign Jason Kelce. The defense is worse and now you’ll be depending on two 2nd year players in Still and Hart to take big jumps. Won’t have the 4th place schedule to feast on this year either. Herbert’s big money kicks in and Slater will be looking for 30M per. Not as easy to build a contender without the rookie QB contract cheat code. Raiders are a CLOWN SHOW. Broncos added two injured defensive players and everybody is throwing them a parade! Bills pantsed them in the WC. Nix is J.A.G., that defense is legit though! 10-11 win CONCRETE ceiling…

  2. I have a feeling our draft will be SUPER good. With as many picks as we have, I don't feel there is a way we turn in less than 10 wins this year. Denver was on our heals last year so I think they'd be the biggest challenge. KC, did get worse and when things didn't go their way, they lost their asses. LV, HA! They draft Jeanty but I am still confident they will be 4th in the AFC West. IF we could have traded for Crosby, man oh man we would have easily upgraded to scary on the field and not just on paper.

  3. Cant remember the last time we made it to the playoffs 2 years in a row AND can't remember the last time we made it to the playoffs with a tough schedule.

  4. If we plan on even coming close to that we're going to DEFINITELY need a TRUE WR1 probably even 1 more WR THAT'S NOT FROM THE SCRAP HEAP LIKE LAST YR! Because we're not even close to having even an average WR room.

  5. What happened to the "we're going to try to resign everyone from last yr" talk!!??? That didn't even come close to happening!! Also the " We didn't help Justin out very well so we're going to have to go get him some help" !!! THAT HASN'T EVEN COME CLOSE AS FAR AS OFFENSIVE WEAPONS!!!

  6. I not a Staley fan by any means. So under Staley they won 11 games in 2022 with an easier schedule. Then in 2023 they only won 5 games with I think the fifth most hardest schedule. So to me. We have got to do much better than the five game win total that Staley got. I truly hope and believe that under Harbough we will just keep getting better and prove why the Spanos family went and got Harbough. If harbough and company can’t get at least 8 wins -10 wins then we have a real problem.

  7. They came in talking about a three year plan. Way ahead of schedule. MASSIVE cap space next year, more than this year. Contracts will be properly handled/balanced (Herbert/Slater). IMO, the team is vastly improved except at WR. Conk is a sneaky good signing and will put up some serious numbers with Herbo, even without Loveland, a really brilliant “bridge signing” that could be more long term is if needed. Poona was a “mid” player before he got to Minter and this coaching staff, don’t see him having the same impact with the Rams and they obviously saw something in Hand and Jones that they believe they can work into the scheme, just like Poona. Devlin and Bischoff are top level OLine coaches, as well as GRo and Coach Harbaugh…Becton will be fine and would probably not have come if he didn’t think this staff/team/resources couldn’t keep him improving.

This coaching staff has proven they can get more out of the team than the “sum of its parts”. An improved run game (hopefully) changes everything.

The team is definitely better and deeper. Yes, there are needs, all teams have them. Let’s see what the draft and second wave of free agency brings before y’all start throwing your hands in the air in panic (a common characteristic of most Charger fans). Keep calm, trust the process.

  8. Greenlaw popped his Achilles as he was running onto the field from the sideline in the Super Bowl. Probably the reason the niners ended up losing that game. Devastating.

  9. I'm taking Numbers right now for anyone thinking that QJ ain't gonna' bring the heat this season, talk your shit now but bring receipts at seasons end. I'm collecting!

  10. The Chargers will win 9 games(if they are lucky). Justin Herbert will have a bad year(as he wont be able to get that 4 INT playoff disaster out of his head). I believe they finish 3rd, maybe 4th. Raiders will be interesting this year. Chargers thought they have a good coach, will just keep CHARGERING. Its simply in their DNA to NOT too. Ladd will have a nice year individually though.
