  5. On Collin Graf going undrafted –

    From the Athletic: “One reason scouts say he wasn’t drafted in the mid to late rounds was his size. As a 17-year-old, Graf was 5-foot-8 and 145 pounds. Now he’s 6-foot-1 and 195 pounds.”

    So he was undersized and playing against very weak competition.

    The sharks signed him after he had actually played against some NHL level competition. Dennis Rodman the basketball player said he grew 6 inches after he turned 18 or 20, I forget. That seems so old to have that much growth.

  8. The leafs play by play guys having to pronounce Liljegren correctly after so many years of saying his name wrong is sad and funny at the same time. It is still crazy that nobody asked him how to pronounce it or that another Swedish player or person did not mention it to them. Liljegren said they never asked and he did not care to correct them.

    The Sharks play by play guy, Randy Hahn said it was normal in broadcasting to ask new players how they pronounce their names.

  10. Why are the commentators saying Liljegren’s name differently now that he plays on the sharks? Like did they forget how to say it, or were they saying it wrong all along?

  13. Toronto was its own worst enemy.Not to take anything away from the Sharks because they used their spots well and I think the Devils trading Toffoli was a big mistake.

  17. I was at the game. It was my first hockey game live or televised. I was getting ready to leave, then the Maple leaves started pushing without their goalie. I was literally sitting on the edge of my seats after every play. It was a good game.

  22. The first goal that TORONTO let in was dreadful. The goal that Woll scored on himself was pathetic. But the Leafs redeemed themselves in the last minute of the third period. I’ve actually never seen the Leafs score 2 goals ….. in the last minute of the third to tie it. ❤❤

  23. Great job of Tavares in defense on 0-1 😂 Matthews always totally lost in defensive situations. it is quite incredible that the defense coaches still have their jobs. The forwards just care to attack

  25. Leave it to the Leafs to play down to the level of a bad team and lose in such a horrid fashion. They do it consistently year in and out. They play their fans for fools.
