  15. When Dak was cranking out wins, the defense sucked. They gave up a 30 plus yard pass from Aaron to a TE to put them in position to win in the playoffs. People don't speak on that.
    #42 on another Cowboys podcast was on that team and he talks just as much trash.
    Dak has had some bad games but he has never had a complete team around like most QBs.
    Hurts has everything offensively and defensively.
    Mahomes ,Allen and Jackson as well. But the latter 2 haven't won a SB and the last time I checked ,NFC or AFC championship games are not the mark.

  17. To whom much is given, much is expected. Commanders were 3-14 in 2023, and with a whole new coaching staff, over a 20% change of roster , a rookie QB led them to the NFC championship game last season. But it is unreasonable to expect as much from the highest paid player in NFL history? Dak has missed about an entire season over the past 3 years meaning he is on the cusp of being considered injury prone. I like Dak and I am not throwing shade at him in any way, however when a team invests as much in any one player in the percentage of cap hit over the next 4 to five years, it is only reasonable to have high expectations of him.

Holey just stated HIS personal opinion that if Dak can't stay healthy and lead this team to at least an NFC Championship game appearance then he's out on believing he can or ever will which is what a huge portion of the fan base feels as well. I didn't hear him say that Dak has to prove himself to him just that he needs to see something that none of us have seen form him in 10 years as the starter. I like Dak and think he's a damn good QB and a heck of a competitor but he's yet to prove he's an elite QB the type that can carry a team when things aren't perfect.He's right in that you don't get suddenly better and healthier in year 10 and beyond so realistically the window is almost closed on his run at a possible title here. No QB for Dallas has lasted past 10 years period since Danny White lol. Jesse did not only play in this league but for this organization so he gets some leeway in his takes .

This fanbase and organization wants a QB that can carry them to a Superbowl by himself because deep down they know this team is sorry and isnt good enough so they use that whole elevate the team excuse to hide behind. This is how lazy and toxic the cowboys are we have gained the mindset of if our team as a whole isnt good enough its the QBs job to carry us to the promise land and if he doesn't then its all his fault and he needs to go.   31. I sadly might agree with Holley. It's not toxic. It is year 10 and usually qbs do not make it to the superbowl. He has to play this year. Yet injuries are an accident. He does not try to get hurt. He does need to play better in big games that's true
