Hope both are gone
This shouldn’t surprise anybody. Bill Schmidt, as wholly mediocre as he is at his job, has an open-ended contract and is the “GM for life,” according to Dick Monfort. Monfort values loyalty over competence. It’s one of the major reasons why the Rockies are a perennial shit show.
