6. Glad you gave the other hitters their flowers too. Mounty absolutely laced that double and O'Hearn was squaring everything up just hitting it right at guys.

   I watched most of the game and the only guy I saw who didn't really put together a great AB was Urias but he had a couple of really, really nice plays at third. Everyone was contributing.

7. This team was beating the cover off the ball! What an impressive display of hitting! We still need to see if the starting pitching will hold up, but they look ready to make another solid run.

11. The triple A team is stacked with depth. I wonder who gets cut when Gunnar comes back. I dont think they will dfa Mateo. Kjerstad seems like the obvious choice to me.

12. I don’t think Dom pitched as bad as the numbers reflect. He didn’t get the call on a few pitches on the edges either.

13. We back! My almost 4 year old was enamored by the home run barrage.

14. What I liked was majority of the home run where multi runs. So they getting men on and they got them in.

16. I say DFA Urias Mateo can play multiple
    Positions including OF plus I’m not giving up that speed. They could have keep him on IL to stash him and kept Soto knowing they could send him down when Gunnar comes back but they went with Mateo.

17. Luke was a surprise yesterday! I will give his post-game episodes a week or so to grow on me but I'm not sure what I think or if I will be a regular.

21. Such an enjoyable game, right from jump street. Icing on the cake: Kyle Stowers' single in the bottom of the 9th led the Marlins to its first ever walk-off victory on Opening Day.

30. Connor, just to note about the opening day production, the MLB article started, "According to the Elias Sports Bureau, only two previous teams had scored 10 or more runs in three straight season openers — the 1893-95 Reds and the 1994-96 Brewers."
