I mean I’m happy he didn’t but that was an easy tag to end the inning
This is why having Arraez bat behind Tatis is so valuable. Nando’s speed and Luis’ contact skills provide so much opportunity for hit & run, 1st to 3rd, 2nd to home plate action.
Tatis having two healthy legs has been electric. I love it. Keep at it kid. 💛🤎💛
Tatis gets up like my old 42 year old ass.

Big ups to Luis on that one; he sold everyone on a botched steal of second & rundown. They’ve been doing variants of setting up the double steal the past few games but the catcher ate the ball each time instead of throwing to second. I think Luis’s aggressive baserunning the past few games made it believable he’d try a doomed steal, and his confused acting and spin away gave Fernando that extra second he needed to get home.
Aggressive base running this year, I like it. I’ve noticed them trying to stretch a single into a double. Not always successfully, but high risk, high reward.
Look at us playing baseball flair plz!!
Stealing home is my favorite thing in baseball.
Did tatis have to tag 3rd base first after the pitch was thrown?
I’ve been loving the small ball, getting on base, and making things happen.

Genuine question. Why didn’t he just tag Arraez?
