RUMORS: New Orleans Saints, Shedeur Sanders Pick Seems UNLIKELY After Deion Sanders’ Comments

While NFL Draft rumors swirl around the New Orleans Saints being interested in Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, his father, Deion Sanders is casting doubt. While many may see Deion’s recent comments during the Buffaloes pro day as a sign the Saints are in on the young quarterback, it seems to shout something different. It seems to be pointed at instead trying to entice other teams to move up or for the New York Giants or Cleveland Browns to take him, stopping the potential free-fall some have begun to expect.

Tyler Warren is holding a private workout after not participating in the NFL Scouting Combine drills and workouts nor his Penn State Pro Day. But he’s made sure the guest list is exclusive. The Saints are reportedly among the handful of teams invited. Could Michigan’s Colston Loveland outrank Warren? It sounds like that may be the case for some teams, but why?

  9. I'd like to think they want to be in NOLA. Young HC, GM that will undoubtedly build around a QB (almost blindly) NO personality in the building (they'll both be the biggest in the room period.

  11. Remember when Deion was in the draft himself and threatened if picked by a certain team he going"to ask for so much money they're gonna have to me on lay away"?

  12. You can use Tyler Warren at tight end, in the slot, and out of the backfield at full back. I believe that his that versatile.

    The last time I checked this will be a draft process and the Saints will pick at 9 which Shedeur will likely be gone..

  19. I agree 100% on the Sanders thing. Even as a college head coach you don’t give away strategies like that. It’s a smoke screen to try to make sure the his son doesn’t end up as the 3rd quarterback off the board. I don’t think the Saints are interested in Shedeur at all. I think they are very highly interested in taking Jaxson Dart at pick #9. I think Loomis has to go big or go home so he’s going to take Dart at 9. I know everybody is saying I don’t want a quarterback until at least round 4. That’s just stupidity and the reason that the Saints have been stuck in mediocrity. If you think Jaxson is your guy you do NOT wait and hope you can trade back into the first round to get him. You strike at 9 so you don’t miss out on your guy.
