Let’s just get back to winning ways on Tuesday and forget this game ever happened
Tbh, Steph should be able forearm shiver people that guard him the way Rockets did. They are fouling, he should be able to foul back.
I just wish NBA will be rotten and get their lowest point after Steph is retired. I will still support Warriors, but I hope the ratings will be crushed and they get less sponsor/ads/money. I will never forgive how NBA treat Steph through his whole career. But on the other hand, that also the reason why Steph will be the no.1 GOAT in history.
Well, at least we got a Steph stinker out of the way. Hopefully, it’s all Curry Flurry from here on out.
But, it’s gonna be a long day today with that painful loss. And it wouldn’t be a painful one if they didn’t lost to the Nuggets w/o Joker, Hawks and Heat earlier.
Dillon Brooks won’t do that again.. we’re good. Next!
Fuck brooks and sengun!
That MMA defense by the Rockettes was something huh? Reminds me of the defenses on the Ws early dynasty days.
Face hugs, slaps, trips, jersey grabs, clotheslines, wrist locks, you name it.
Bet they didn’t expect that strat this early from Udoka.
I watch every single Steph, Lebron and Luka game because I watch bball with my bros and that’s their favorite players and Steph is my fav. Now it’s Lebron and Luka, but that’s beside the point.
Lebron and Luka do not get hugged like Steph. They don’t get chased around being held like Steph. They don’t get pulled around like Steph. When they start running from a defender, they don’t get their wrists grabbed to slow them down. They don’t have an arm on their waist to hold them back from running. Sure they get hacked a lot when they go for a drive or a shot and there’s no whistle sometimes, but so does Steph (I’d say to a more extreme extent).
However, all those other things I listed are extra shit fouls that don’t get called that average fans just don’t pay attention to and they don’t even know to look for it because it’s almost an exclusive thing with Steph and a few other quick guards in the league, but it happens so much more to Steph because he runs around every single play with or without the ball, not just a few here and there.
I just felt like saying this because I saw people in the other subs whining about Steph ain’t the only one and listed Luka as an example. I watched 90% of Luka’s career in the NBA. Get outta here with that
EDIT: I can’t wait for any of these face guarding teams to face Steph in the playoffs. They can’t do that shit for 7 game series. Every time someone tries they end up stopping mid-way through the series and you can visually see those players slow down and look injured. Vando is prime example, pretty much sat out the whole Nuggets series after chasing Steph for 6 games, which then lead to him being injured for 2 years because his feet were fucked up due to the Warriors series.
Is KD really coming back Tuesday?? Why even bother 😭😭😭
If you had told Warriors fans they’d go 3-1 before this past week gauntlet of @ Grizzlies, @ Lakers, Nuggets, Rockets.
Middle two being a road & home back to back with the last 3 games coming in a 4 day span.
They’d take it. Heck 2-2 was a record most would’ve realistically expected.
Looking at the schedules of the Clippers, Timberwolves, Grizzlies, and Warriors who all have the same 46-32 records.
Warriors probably have the easiest schedule this last week.
Clippers probably are playing the best out of the 4 teams as they have had the best net rating dating back over the last month of play at 14.4 along with being tied for the 2nd highest winning % too with a 14-3 record.
For Warriors to not be in the play in before the regular season finale vs the Clippers they would need to be one game better than both the Grizzlies and Timberwolves since they own the tiebreaker with both teams having won each season series 3-1
The realistic scenario is the Warriors winning the next 3 games where they should probably be heavy favorites in all of them.
Then you hope the Grizzlies lose to the Nuggets and Timberwolves to lose to the Bucks although with both playing against one another the tam that loses would be in the play in.
But who do you root for in that Grizzlies vs Timberwolves match up this Thursday. Probably the Grizzlies especially if the Timberwolves beat the Bucks on Tuesday as there is no way neither the Nets or Jazz have a shot of winning.
Whereas the Nuggets I think have a better shot of beating the Grizzlies on Friday which will be a home & road back to back than I think that the Bucks will beat the Timberwolves.
It’s going to be a wild last week of the regular season but I still like the chances of the Warriors avoiding the play in tournament as of right now.
Every time we get close to widening that gap, we don’t. I’m glad we got the Ws against MEM, LAL and DEN for sure or else we’d be buried at a fixed 8th. But dang, the missed opportunities.
SUNS GOTTA SHUTDOWN BOOK AND FRIENDS
Since it is no longer considered a foul when opponents are hugging Steph and impeding his free movement, should he start hugging opponents on screens in return to free up the cutter? Set baseline screens for Jimmy and JK and lob them the ball.
Wish he would do it just to say F you to the refs and their double standards.
Are you all getting skeptical about jimmy’s offense or nah? 7 shots is unacceptable when steph was getting hounded the whole game. I don’t think he has confidence in his jumper and that’s not a good sign.
TWolves play Bucks next and guess who’s gonna be back!!?? Bobby~~!!🙏

No sweat. I had us losing to Nuggets and beating Rockets so switch that outcome. Just have to win rest of games and whomever we get we get.
Wondering did TJD and/or Post didn’t get more playing time yesterday? They could have certainly helped either with length or unclogging the paint, esp with Dray in foul trouble, and the rockets playing both Sengun and Adams.
if the season ended today, i’d feel pretty good about our playoff path:
– lakers in the first round: low travel, and an incomplete lakers team that doesn’t have enough defense to hang with the warriors.
– houston in the second round: young team without much offense. They held steph to three points yesterday and it was still a close game, that’s a great sign.
– okc / denver / clippers in the west finals: the three teams that are the worst matchup for the warriors in the bracket, and we only have to see one of them.
Wasnt able to watch. How did JK do, and why did he play so little when I think he had a good game bec he had a +9 (just box score watching)? He’s also always good vs the Rockets
Just saw the tech. To me, it looks like Sengun lifts Dray’s elbow into his neck then flops.
There’s replay and all, why can’t they see this? Should fine Sengun tbh.
Dray was even shocked. Can’t the team asked for another review?
3-1 in a fucking gauntlet of a schedule. We’d have lost all 4 of these games probably before the deadline. Everything is still ahead of us. As long as we stay out of the play-in, I don’t much care which seed we land into because it’s gonna be a razor thin margin anyway.
