Matthew Wood Impresses in NHL Debut as Nashville Predators Fall to Montreal Canadiens

The Nashville Predators lost their sixth straight game in frustratingly familiar fashion as they fell 2-1 to the Montreal Canadiens Sunday at Bridgestone Arena. There was a bright spot, though, as 2023 first-round pick Matthew Wood made his NHL debut with the Predators just over a week after signing his entry-level contract with the club. We take a closer look at Wood’s game and discuss what the future could hold for him in Nashville.   1. If we keep the tank going for these last few games I think we'll overtake Chicago on the odds but it would be tough to over take the sharks.

  2. For the preds to change their draft position outside of lottery picks at this point either a) chicago wins 5 straight and preds lose 5 straight, or b) boston loses out and the preds win 5 straight. I dont see either of those happening lol its a lock

  3. Most time Habs is on the other side of the goalie interference . #11 Brandan Gallagher would have 30 goals this year if half of the goal interference goal it got refused were allowed. He still got 20 goals this year. Not bad for a guy who can't skate anymore.
