  1. “Don’t trade TJ! I want us to try to win!”

“Don’t sign Rodgers! I want lesser QB play so we lose more!”

  2. I don’t care about Roger’s coming or going, I just don’t want TJ going.

He’s still a monster and the heart of the defense along with Cam and Minkah. If he goes it’s going to be devastating.

  3. I’m not that pessimistic. If the Steelers want to do an all in soft rebuild, isn’t the time now? Needs: QB, RB, WR, CB, S… in no order. If you trade Watt and Pickens during the draft and sign Rodgers, you probably get 2 to 3 high picks for them. Watt is over 30, he’ll still be great as will Pickens, but at some point you have to build for the future.

  4. If there was a time to look for a trade it would make sense to do it now. We need to build for the future and let’s face it we aren’t going anywhere without a franchise QB. TJ is my favorite player on the team but he is aging and still holds great value currently. I would shop him and if there isn’t any really good deals I would just pay him whatever he wants to keep him.

  5. If we sign Rodgers that will just be the perfect cherry on top of this fucked up year. 🤦🏻‍♂️

  6. Why do we need TJ Watt in his prime when the outlook next two years is pointing straight down?

  7. I’m to the point in my Steelers Fandom that I don’t become infatuated with players. I did when I was younger, but now I don’t. Obviously, TJ has been amazing and is one of the greatest to ever wear the black and gold.

But I can’t justify paying him what Myles Garret got, I just can’t, and we know damn well Garrett isn’t worth what he got. But he’ll be 31 this year, he’s coming off one of his worst seasons.. We can lose with him, or without him. And id rather just lose and save 40 million/year…

As long as Tomlin remains the coach, this organization isn’t winning another superbowl anytime soon. Nothing will change until Tomlin is gone.

  8. If they trade TJ and hire Rodgers the entire Rooney family and Tomlin should be fired and sent to prison for life. Is that too harsh?

  9. TJ is my favorite Steeler playing today. That said, I think they should trade him and some of the other high priced vets. They have no chance to contend in the AFC right now. KC, Buffalo, Baltimore are clearly better. A bunch of other teams have much more reason for optimism than the Steelers. Time for a rebuild.

  10. It’s a business not a like contest. Do what you can to win. Who cares if someone is a Steeler for life. Trade him if the deal is right. And don’t overpay a player who’s never performed in the playoffs or has even won one playoff game. Jeez

  11. If we actually went full rebuild mode and traded TJ I’d applaud them. This organization doesn’t like to pick a direction though so I doubt it

  12. Good thing you’re a Steelers fan, smarter organizations would’ve traded Watt and Minkah years ago

  13. Well we’re definitely not going to trade TJ. And it doesn’t look like Rogers is coming to the Steelers now. We’re totally dependent on Mason and whoever we get in the draft. Scary times ahead!

  14. There’s only one real God (YHWH/Jesus/Holy Spirit), but have fun with that I guess.
