Hey Guys but actually New York and Detroit can't lose period whether in OT or regulation because Ottawa has the tie breaker if New York goes 5-0-1 then they would be at 41-33-8 Ottawa if they lost all in regulation would be at 42-34-6 which means Ottawa would have the tie breaker as they have more wins. Detroit similar story they would have less wins than Ottawa as well if the tied. So the clinching scenarios are one of the following.

    Ottawa gets 1 win in any fashion

    Or Detroit and New York lose in any fashion

    Or Ottawa gets 2 OT points

    So Essentially Detroit or New York would have to win every single game and on top of that Ottawa would have to not win a single game rest of the way. For Ottawa to miss.

  6. if we keep winning – we better pass TB too so we can play TB with home ice advantage – otherwise yeah Toronto would be better obviously – but Ottawa shouldn;t tank – that is some dicey karma with the hockey gods… there's a world where we pass both FLA and TB

  11. The best part of this past weekend is that it was all done without Brady. As soon as they clinch Jenson needs to sit and anyone else playing through injuries

  12. The other best part of the whole game was after the 3rd Sens goal, the camera panned the Blue Jackets bench and you could see the looks dejection and realization that their season is done. So satisfying to not be in that boat for once. I'm expecting another lame effort from them tomorrow

  21. I keep hearing who the Sens prefer to face but me I don’t care, they’re winning round 1 and 2. I could see them win the conference but I think a western conference team will win but never know. Question should be, who does NOT want to play the Senators?
