  1. Would match our MO. Don’t strengthen during the offseason, spend farm capital when injuries or poor performance occur.

  2. Framber, Hunter, and Sandy would be a disgusting trio but I don’t see what the forever rebuilding Marlins would want from us

  3. How could we possibly afford the most valuable player that has a legitimate chance of moving?

  4. > According to Bleacher Report’s Kerry Miller, as reported by The Sporting News, The Houston Astros may be a strong candidate to target Sandy Alcantara.

    Nothing against the OP because sometimes these types of things are interesting. However, it gets pretty nuts when one website “reports” on a different writer’s “speculation” from another website especially when adding nothing else. I know this is nothing new but that line above from the article was just bonkers.

  5. With what prospects

    Checks the returns for every Marlins trade

    Hmm we might be able to cook

  6. We already have no assets in the farm, any trade this season when we aren’t even real contenders would just be pure idiocy.

  7. I can definitely see a world where we deal Chas or Jake during this season, or even Brendan Rodgers if be lights up and we feel we can turn him

    Honestly I would love if we waiting and saw a player who was balling out in LF, trade Brendan, and let Altuve shift back to 2B

  8. Me: Yeah, right.

    Also me addressing rumors in the recent past:

    * Ain’t no way we’re getting Hader
    * Ain’t no way we’re letting Bregman walk
    * Ain’t no way we’re trading Tucker

    Sooo, i’m clueless when it comes to this kind of thing.

  9. Anything from bleacher report is suspect. They are always doing unrealistic trade proposals passed off as journalism. They will do they same player and regurgitate it with every team.
