The Texas Rangers were swept in Seattle by the Mariners despite throwing their two aces Jacob deGrom and Nathan Eovaldi. The offense could do nothing and the bullpen and defense faltered as well.

  4. I’m not going to completely overreact to the sweep, but I am concerned. As I’ve been saying, Semien is completely washed. But a new concern, I’m afraid officially hitting the panic button on Joc Peterson.

    I still believe in Eovaldi, Mahle, deGrom. And Bradford and Leiter when they come back.

  7. I agree there are some real concerns, yes it’s early, but you can’t afford to get in a hole and expect some Herculean effort to come back. This week will tell us. We either come out of it looking competitive or we won’t.

  8. Pillar needs to play over leody, leody can not hit for power or consistently enough to be in the starting lineup , also he can’t field or cut off ground balls in center field to save his life right now

  9. I don’t blame pitching in this series. Wouldn’t have matter. Pitching kept them close this entire season. We gotta score more than 3 runs.
