Lots of CTE ball from Memphis tonight.
Dray and Steph’s underestimated wingspan strikes again!!!
Yikes
That was a quick 5 seconds but after the Podz and Looney fouls, I don’t give a shit
This game is on crack
You’ve got to be fucking kidding me
What is going on this game?
Felt like a fast 5 seconds and I say that as a Warriors fan
Sick replay they had there
Lmao that was turrible ernie
10/10 basketball, 0/10 refereeing
There have been so many more egregious instances than this…
calamity
The most anticlimactic yet fitting end to this game
No one even tried to get the ball lol did they want to wait getting a wide open look??
I may be tripping but that was quick 5 seconds 😂
Edit: also I feel like there’s usually a tiny bit of leeway the refs give but can’t argue if it’s a true 5 seconds
What a terrible end to the game.
Wtf was that playcall…Bane standing like a tree
Error by the coach. Why put the guy with maybe a low bball IQ to inbound.
Bold strategy cotton
What an anticlimactic ending wtff
Why didn’t the refs just inbound it themselves?
Taylor Jenkins giggling and kicking his feet
CURRY JUMPING JACK DPOY
Congrats on drawing up such a terrible out of bounds play. Complete lack of urgency. Guess that’s what happens when you can your coach right before playoffs.
getting flash backs from my 3rd grade basketball
Where’s the urgency? So casually taking a 5 second violation.
That is so stupid
Just at least throw the ball if needed
Memphis interim coach, disasterclassing his way out of a job. Refusing to foul immediately bleeding seconds off the clock to drawing up whatever the hell that was
Refs couldnt even give a BS 3pt foul to tie the game dawg.
How tf u commiting a 5s violation lmao
maybe firing the coach a week before playoffs was not the best idea
I don’t get how teams come out of time outs with this type of stuff, like there’s no movement at all until like the 4th second.
it looks like a fast 5 seconds..BUT if you watch the time-stamp on the video, ref starts counting at 0:00, and the whistle is blown somewhere around 0:05 and 0:06, so it’s good.
Playoff butler is goated fr😭
After all that bs they tried, warriors still won
Can’t argue with the video. It was a clear 5 second violation
Lmao people were really saying that didn’t feel like 5 seconds? That was damn near 7.
literally a timer on the video player and people still want to say that was a quick five lol.
looking at the ref, that’s five Nazi salutes. so five second call.
Why is everybody talking about how fast the 5 sec call is? He got the ball at the beginning of the video and still has it at 0:06
The timer on the video makes it clear he got more than 5 seconds to inbound, so it’s the right call.
But this being the right call doesn’t change the excessive whistles all night.
I don’t understand you people. Ghost foul on Looney that leads to two free throws the other way, and yet this is what you complain about? That was fucking 5 seconds. Look at the timestamps
Holy fuck Memphis. I was getting mental illness just watching them play towards the end. Forcing shots, dumb turnovers, dumb fouls, hero ball, dumb replay review. Even the coach looks lost out there. Golden state should have won by more.
Its like the refs thought that they fucked up enough, and need to wrap this shit up
A quick check on the video timer does indeed indicate 5 seconds
How was that not a foul on the Warriors? #5 and #0 were literally holding onto both Morant and Jackson with both arms wrapped around. Butler got 2 free throws while not being touched.
NBA needed this to be a close game. Refs came through strong. 💪
lmao at people saying it was a “quick 5 seconds”
you can literally see the timestamp. video starts with ball in his hands, violation called at just at the 6 second mark. it was actually more than 5 seconds
The clip posted went from 34 start to 28 when pass was made. So it was 5 seconds.. why are comments saying it was a bad call.. or am I missing something.
