7. I am the most worried about Ekholm. He is too important a player to get shuffled in at the last minute, just to go back out. I’m very skeptical of the medics staff on the team given the three recent re-injuries to Drai, Frederic, and now Ekky. That said, I am still optimistic about this team’s chances, especially with all of the development in the depth and team defense.

10. New update, Ekholm is getting more tests but he might be seriously hurt, and his season might be over, if that’s the case then o boi, playoffs will be scary, now imagine we didn’t trade for Walman

15. If Kings lose today there is a chance that the Oilers could catch them slipping and take home-ice. Unlikely but its definitely possible. Hopefully Ek will be ok and can heal up. I can't wait to see an almost fully healthy Oilers team in the next week or so. Really going to be interesting how we handle the playoffs without Ek, hopefully Nurse and Walman can turn up their games to another level in his absense.

    Tough news for Oilers and Ekholm. Hearing there are further tests to be done, but it’s believed to be a serious injury that worst case scenario may end his season, best case scenario will keep him sidelined for quite some time.

22. No doom and gloom here. As long as McDavid and Draisaitl are good to go we have as good a chance against LA as anyone.

24. You can stay positive " for the months and years to come"😇 but TODAY Oilers have 2 mediocre goaltenders and lost their best defenseman 😂 Oilers have NO depth in defense IMHO
    
    My opinion: The Oilers will be eliminated in the first round against Los Angeles and I will bet $$ on it 🤑I feel so bad for Leon and McDavid that they are stuck on this mediocre team and these 2 best players of the generation will be left without a Stanley Cup again.
