Shams on Dame: “He’s cleared for full contact. He participated in a full practice with the Milwaukee Bucks today. Bucks officials have been told by doctors this is really remarkable, unprecedented recovery for him to do this. This has never really happened before in this length of time.”

  1. Unpresidented!! The language they use to describe this sounds like some shit trump would say

  2. Sounds like he must be related to the Cheeto in chief! Never before seen health!

  3. Bought tickets for game 3 literally ten minutes after the news hit lmao not a guarantee he’ll play but if they’re dropping all this news now I wouldn’t be surprised if that ends up being his return. Either way, I’m stoked to see playoff Bucks basketball and for my first trip to FISERV! 🦌

  4. Have you heard the good news?

    He is risen!

    Happy Easter everybody 🐰 🐣

  5. Reminds me of Giannis coming back from his injury earlier than anticipated in our championship run!

  6. Every playoff prediction I watched (and I watch a ton) said they fully expect Dame to miss the series. We haven’t even played a game yet and they are already wrong!

  7. Doc Rivers just said that “he has no limitations anymore besides his lungs and cardio” and that “he’s been watching Indiana film since the pistons game”

This mf is playing game 1 and I’m convinced of it.

  8. A fully healthy Bucks playoff team? Basketball gods have decided we’ve endured enough suffering.

  9. Blazers fans (am one) everywhere are fuckin stoked to hear this. Bucks all the way baby go get our boy a chip

  10. To my knowledge, we don’t know all the details behind his clot (size, amount of clot/clot burden, or direct cause)… But common things that cause clots are trauma and prolonged periods of not moving, such as flights or long car rides – these are referred to as “provoked” blood clots. In many cases, people form clots in these situations and the body is quick to break them up in time before they become problematic or noticeable. In some cases, when they do become noticed due to a known problem (pain, swelling, shortness of breath…) they require a short course of blood thinners to help the body do its thing.

Given the, presumably, lack of other major risk factors, his body probably cleared the clots quickly, and his physician team had low suspicion for them to return; therefore, anticoagulation (blood thinners) were probably considered safe to be discontinued under the premise that if it returns, he would need more aggressive/prolonged treatment.

So here’s to praying that he does well and that they don’t return. Slap some compression devices on the legs on long flights/travel, and keep movin.

  11. It was all to rest him for the playoffs. Unleashing a whole new strategy… He is coming off the bench to run the offense when Giannis sits and overlap. Bucks in 6!!!! Let’s go!!

  12. You guys are about to witness some A1 postseason Dame Time this year. Hold on to your butts.

  13. is this the same reddit group that has all but called the team a washed and a first round exit…????
