  1. Always the same old comment, we are the youngest team to clinch a playoff spot apparently and secondly we didn’t have the goal of making the playoffs yet look where we are. To think the habs aren’t excited just shows you got zero brain cells.

  18. The Leafs have their hands full this series. I don’t think it’ll be easy for them. Ottawa had their number this year. If Ottawa can play physical with Toronto’s top 4, they’ll win the series. We know the Leafs best players hate being touched.

    2) If someone thought Suzuki was speaking because we clinched, they might think that an overreaction. If they knew that it was fan appreciation night, when players give away their jersey and a couple of players thank the fans for their support, they might be less inclined to think we were celebrating like we won the Stanley Cup; and
    3) Fuck the Leafs.

  42. Did the Habs even do any sort of banner raise for winning the Western Conference trophy in 2021? No, because they know the only thing the fans and the team care about is cups. That’s the culture that every team tries to chase.

    You damn well know Toronto is gonna do a banner raise just for being division champs. The cope and mental gymnastics with that fanbase is off the charts. They have so much pent up anxiety about not winning Jack shit for so long that they are petty about absolutely everything.

  44. I once visited the bell center. Arriving at a picture of a crowd on ste-catherine the guide said” this is a picture of the last cup parade” me being a smart ass said wow it’s in color and the guide without skipping a beat said ” Ah it’s in Toronto the cup picture is black and white”
