[Highlight] Steph “Jerry Rice” Curry gets open 4 straight times against off-ball double teams to seal the game for the Warriors

  1. This is such a wild skill to have but also how he gets so many looks at threes lmao like I don’t know who you can even compare him to, historically, as the greatest at losing a defender while not having the ball.

  2. That second one was FILTHY lol this guy is the only dude alive whose inbounds make highlight reels

  3. The conditioning that it takes for these stop/start sprints and then immediately standing at the line and hitting big shots without fatigue throwing off his rhythm is very underappreciated.

  4. The surest sign that they’re using an interim coach was their inbounds plays. A few times they went over 5 seconds inbounding and they either finally had it called or made a horrible pass that led to a turnover.

At 15 seconds Konchar/Bane look like they have no idea what to do with the Butler screen.

Curry gets it and Morant goes to poke it out instead of going for the foul when they have a foul to give. Wasting 3 seconds of the 10 that were left.

Next play they all line up in the warriors court and completely give up the back court. I assume they must have known the warriors could throw it in in the back court, no? This is really bad. 2 more seconds go off the clock before the foul. So they’ve effectively lost half the time and still have to get a foul to get the ball back.

Aldama is on the passer, shading to prevent the pass under their basket, Bane starts playing Curry to go that way too, and it gives up the wide open lane toward the warriors court. 2 more seconds go off the clock when they finally get the pass and foul.

Really bad sets. They could have congested the court more and tried to force someone like Payton to shoot free throws. Instead they spread the floor to give curry more room to move.

These guys just don’t look coached. Where is that screaming coach critic on youtube talking about this? Seems like this is a clear case of winging it in a deciding play-in game. Makes sense this coach is only interim

  5. This skillset makes him more dangerous than magic, bron, kareem. We will be having this discussion when he retires

  6. That second one he just straight up shoves him in the back. That last one is filthy tho. He saw Desmond Bane tell his teammate to cover the right side and Steph sold it like he was gonna go right and then just darted left to get open. Off ball goat

  7. Often not recognized, are his steady circling and running around the defence. So he has experince in getting free

  8. Man, thats Steph Curry. Steph Curry! Every. Single. Eye in the building is on him… GSW fans want the ball in his hands, where is he? MEM fans want him to not, where is he? Coaches? Watching. Players? Watching. Even everyone at home? Watching. We all know both teams’ plans revolve 100% around around him… And he still manages to get open exactly how he wants. Effortlessly! Spectacular. He can’t be stopped.

  9. These guys can shake or defenders while dribbling the ball, doing it freely in open space without ball probably is easier for them.

  10. Lol imagine guarding Steph in a playoff series. Dellavedova almost died chasing him around. You might do a good/ decent job guarding him, but definitely not fun running around like that killing your legs and stamina in the process and you will certainly not looking forward to that game in game out, and he will still get most of his shot anyway. Houston shut him down one time recently (remember this is an already “old” Steph, the younger one was a different kind of beast) but I doubt they will consistently be successful in a series.
