I dont think the Art Ross winner should just automatically win MVP every year.
While we obviously love our Kuch, our whole team has been top notch this year. I don’t think Kuch is necessarily carrying us as much as Mac or Helly might be
NHL writers have the dubious distinction of picking the Hart trophy winner over the unanimous Art Ross winner in consecutive years.
Canadian writers once again picking a Canadian and not Russian player. The bias is so strong… and shitty.

Shouldn’t the people who do the voting for this stuff either not be affiliated nationally with the people they’re voting for or have it be an even split?
If Kuch doesn’t win I’m okay with that. But it should be to Hellebuyck, not MacKinnon.

2025 with the way Guentzel, Point, Hagel, and Cirelli are scoring – he’s not carrying us quite like he was. Which is a good thing for the team but a setback toward his MVP argument.
Literally how, if anything it should be Hellebuyck at 66 not fricking Mackinnon AGAIN somehow wholly undeserving!
