Right handed pitcher, so we’re leading off with a guy making his Braves debut who bats from the left side and doesn’t strike out much. It’s an interesting choice because Snit usually prioritizes speed in lead-off.
They’re trying something new. I’m just glad they aren’t doing the same thing over and over and just hoping it improves.
Kinda crazy that Verdugo leading off actually feels like the right move right now. Hopefully dropping lower in the order will help Harris reset a bit.

Is it me or would it be cool to have a red alternate hat to go with the jersey? Maybe not every time but I’d love to see them mix in a red hat with a blue brim every now and again.

Braves really need to find a true leadoff hitter. There has to be someone out there they could sign or trade for. Nobody flashy. Just a guy who can hit over .260 and walks.
