Why didn't Phan just run it out though? Is he just restarted or what? Yes….I thought so
So, double play.
1st base runner should be safe given the fact that the hitter was out at first before the 1st baseman tagged him, no?
Dude i thought the low point was earlier when the 1st baseman took out the catcher? Now we r getting thrown out at 1st from LEFT?
Or Pham could just run it out
I've been a Pirates fan for close to 50 years. It never gets any easier.
So what happened twice in history?
I had that exact same play yesterday at my game but I somehow ended up on 3
A major league not hustling? this is not news
Shouldn't the guy that should have gone to second base be tagged out first, prior to tagging first base?
Im a nats fan but Wood generally looks so lazy when playing defense. Is it due to how tall he is? His bat is great tho for sure
I love how effortlessly Wood casually tosses the ball from left field to first. The mechanics are beautiful.
The fact that James wood dint even know he didn’t catch it is crazy
Jesus. Shows you how good these guys are. How effortless was that throwv
It was funnier when Sean Casey was thrown out from the OF.
Are we gonna talk about how umpires the last few days have created these types of plays? The runners are looking for the umpires to call the ball caught or not. Umpires are now just standing there being observers.
Aren't the refs supposed to make it clear?
First basemen should have tagged the runner first and then the bag. What a dummy
I remember the same thing happening to Sean casey
I’m confused and didn’t watch the game. Is it a double play?
So Cruze was still safe on the bag?
It looked caught in real time, but when I looked at the replay, it actually hit the ground
These players are so stupid today. More athletic but dumber
This happened in my kid pitch days so how could it possibly only be twice in MLB history

Manager should bench Tommy Pham immediately
