IG: @hockeyanalysis 10 comments Solid third pairing defense man. I would sign Hanley in a heartbeat Dude was super reliable down the stretch. Great player to have at your disposal that can play up and down the lineup Why do people keep referring to him as a waiver pickup when he was part of the Tanev trade? Every interview that weegs did, he would praise having Hanley on his other side. They were a great pair this season imo Fine, but we have to much depth at that position to re-sign him. Young guys have earned a try in that spot. I’ve really enjoyed his play this year, you can put him anywhere and absolutely reliable. I think at the most Flames will give him one-year extension. Solid depth guy and he plays on the left side so he isn’t blocking Parekh and/or Bru. Wouldn’t mind having him back. He’s a solid third pairing guy. Sadly, he was playing as our 4 with Weegar all season. Got a feeling the Flames aren’t the only team that was impressed by him after becoming a regular. Seems like the type of player that will get a crazy contract offer from a desperate team. The perfect 4/5 defenseman tbh Wouldn’t mind keeping him around as a third pairing d-man Leave a ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
