8. The Cubs were 18-12 last year in March/April before going 10-18 in May. The bullpen is far from settled, and we still have 139 games to play. I need to see more.

9. Unless Brown learns to corral his unhittable stuff, his pitch counts will get too high causing him to have short outings, such as this one. Without the injuries to the staff he would be a bullpen candidate. His stuff is good enough to slot him into a 4th or 5th starter, but lasting only 4 innings doesn't cut it for a starter position and with his pitch counts being so high his longevity is short for the games he starts. He needs to learn to be more efficient and cut down on walks to be the pitcher they're looking for as a starter for the rotation.

13. Everyone saying lets see how May/June go based on last year. Well last year Cubs didnt have the toughest April schedule in baseball , Tucker & duo catchers who can hit. While yes its early we are not only hanging in gms we are straight beating the best teams in the league. Even w/ the bad pen and missing another ace. Yes too early to crown em this team is by far better than last years.

35. Bullpen still sucks. They'll blow it later. They NEED reinforcements! The offense can't score 6-12 runs a game, every game to circumvent the Sox cosplay bullpen Jed put together.
