1. The Stars still can't win a Game 1 of a playoff series. Pathetic.

2. Can we also talk about the start times? There is no good reason why any game should be starting at 9pm in 2025. If someone wants to watch anyone can stream these days.

3. I am not going to be doom and gloom 7 games is a long time. We will come back and learn some things. Mikko will find his groove. Stay the course.

4. Have some hope that Stars can build on their first game, not throwing the towel in on them yet. Robo is a huge loss, but the team has had success when he was out in the past, keeping positive and will be yelling at them from the sidelines. On another note, sure loved that Canes game yesterday, and so fabulous to see Stanky finding his groove! Rant will soon too! Go Stars Go!

7. One thing i dont think stars fans are used to is seeing a guy get double coverage. When mikko is around the net other teams are stacking two guys on him. Our players need to learn how to take advantage of the extra space, i think if Nils was in the lineup he would move down to the dots to give the forward an option once rantanen was covered, the guys we have now dont have the confidence to cheat. I agree about Lian, he had a lot of confidence with the puck that i liked, i think he will be a better version of Zadorov

9. Joey, listening to your first 5 mins is a delusional guy. Stars cannot handle the Av's transition game, they got OWNED in transition and just DESTROYED in faceoff percentages. Dude, it was 0-0 after the first, I call that a massive win for the Av's and Blackwood was beast mode. If he keeps this to 2 goals or less for the Stars, this will be over in 4-5. In my opinion, Robo and Miro would not have changed this games outcome. Dumba, Petrovich and Bischel are going to get blown up as the series goes on. Stop using injuries as an excuse. In my opinion, you put Miro out there based on his knee surgery in a playoff situation would be stupid and jeopardizes his health for the start of next season if he re-injures his knee. In my opinion, the Stars are gassed, you can see it in the third period, they peaked to early and got caught up in trying to chase down the Jets.

12. Dumba being scratched for first game of the playoffs might be the best indicator as one of Jim Nill's worst moves as GM. I think it was a bit of a panic signing when it looked the Stars were going to be the club left without a dance partner on deadline day

14. Robo looks like a minor tear (strain) typically that’s a 1-3 week rest. First look I could see it being one week, news of him limping, likely every bit of 2 weeks. So maybe middle of next round if we make it

16. I can't expect the Stars to win, missing the key players they are to injury. Compound the 7 game (now 8 game) losing streak. There is a serious impact when you have confidence and momentum. They have none right now. Unfortunately this series is over in a maximum of 5 games. Then the Stars have important decisions to make with this inferior defense which really needs to be fixed.
