  1. i mean the reality is, the rangers stocked on defense with the idea that if they make the playoffs they can have depth. Maybe he deserve better communication within his role but every team have a player who's the odd man out. it sucks

  2. De Haan I don’t blame you at all for being pissed and he’s still a stand up guy cuz he lied and said everyone in this room is a good guy when that’s clearly not true Panarin would rather be raping a woman than getting down to block a shot or get back on the back check

  3. I’m sure De Haan is a cool dude but he is at best a 4th line defenseman. I don’t like to see players like this upset considering he wants to play for the team. Maybe Laviolette could’ve done something different with him considering the season was over in December

  4. Guy was odd man out- Laviolette had to play Soucey since JT had bacically convinced him to come- remember him sitting Soucey and Brian Boyle commenting that he wondered if it pissed Miller off that he'd gone out on a limb and this was making him look foolish- next game Soucey was back and never left the lineup again. An inside look at the political powder keg that was this NYR season. Coach had no capitol left after December.

  5. He played 3 games and they did not lose one of those.
And then he was scratched and never played again.
That's the kind of decision that makes good conspiracy theories when you add it to all the other stuff that went on this year. 😉

  6. Wow! This guy should be a coach down the line. I like the way he sees the situation as a whole. 🙂
In the mean time I hope the front office listened to what he said. It is leadership stuff for sure.
He speaks like he was a Ranger for years.
I totally agree with him. This team should be in the playoffs with the pieces they have and they don't need to blow the whole thing up.
I like when he said that the Rangers should have big expectations next season.
He sounds like a guy who wants to be part of the solution despite the treatment he got.
I'd keep him if I had a say for sure.
Very refreshing and thoughtful exit interview.

  7. Playing Vakkie, Borgen, Miller, etc.. OVER this guy?!
Just shows how CLUELESS the Rangers organization truly is!🙄😫🤦‍♂️

  8. Hard to believe he only played three games for the Rangers. They won every time he played then Laviolette scratched him. I hope he gets with an organization that will put him on the ice.

  9. It's one thing if he sits and the team is doing great and on an incredible winning streak. That fact is that after the 3 games he played the D was awful and Lavi not giving CDH a look just to shake things up a bit is an indictment on how bad of coaching job Lavi did this year.
