Lux finally got his homer
Can we win a series after dropping the first game? Or is it 0-12
Maybe I’m on the copium train but I’m not too upset about that one. We faced a filthy starting pitcher and the bats came alive a bit despite starting the game with 14 Ks. I think we’re gonna be just fine.
Diaz DFA. Guy is not worth it
With the ambiance of an April Monday game in Miami, I couldn’t wait for this game ^to ^be ^over
Rough game. Glad they didn’t get shutout but the bats got smothered with a pillow for the first 6 innings.
Whats everyone’s thoughts on marte?
Today we learned that hitting a baseball is hard.
Hard to hit against that nasty pitching, and the boys wanted more big hits like last night so they were swinging. Once Meyer was pulled the offense came alive again but too late.
Good god max meyer was absolutely disgusting. Lived in the bottom of the zone with elite stuff. Wouldn’t matter who he faced, he was a damn buzz saw
Pitcher was dealing. Baseball is baseball. You don’t know if another team would do better or not. But you can say, dude was on. We did better against the pen, but unfortunately pitching wasn’t what we needed it to be. Still, bats need to extend the inning as much as they can when the opposing pitcher is on.
14 ks in 6 innings, absolutely wild. Every pitch seemed to break and land right on the edge of the strike zone, except the ones that didn’t which were enticing enough to make the Reds hitters chase. Hats off to that dude, shrug and move on.
I would really prefer to watch elite pitching when it’s *my* team doing the elite pitching
It’s ok, just keep hitting. We will be fine.
