What a Fkn squad
I miss a lot of A’s eras. Just when I would figure out the players’ names and positions and build up memories of going to games to watch them and rode the ebb and flow of the season with them and talked about the team with randos out in my normal every day life…. there would be a shakeup. And I’d have to do it all over again.
But I agree. That era might be the era I most connected to the team. I made a lot of friends on AN at that time and while we have moved on from there, we still stay connected online in some way or another.
That’s probably the last version of the team I followed daily. Add it to the past great A’s team I followed, going back to the best teams steroids could build with the MacGuire-Conseco world series team and, the Giambi-Big-Three-Tejada and through a few rebuilds. FJF.
